The female parent is the superb clone of N. robcantleyi, with the cultivar name ‘Queen of Hearts’, which has been exhibited world-wide many times. The male parent is a selected seed-raised clone of the beautiful N. aristolochioides x spectabilis, formerly sold under BE-3025. The particular form of N. aristolochioides x spectabilis used in this cross has the incomparable giant N. spectabilis as the male parent.
