Nepenthes (veitchii x lowii) x robcantleyi BE-3841
From a very large number of clones out of microprop.
The female parent, N. veitchii x lowii, is a remarkable robust plant, which produces huge pitchers, which have even caught small rats in Borneo Exotics' nurseries, probably because it exudes copious amounts of nectar from the underside of the lid. As all the component species are large, expect this cross to produce exceptionally large pitchers. Another interesting point is that we are already seeing nectar exudate, even on juvenile plants and if you look carefully, you can see this in the photos here.
