This handsome cross is selected from a large number of candidate clones for its vibrant colouration as well as being an easy grower. Because of the lowland-highland parentage, it tolerates a wide range of temperatures.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.The female parent is the superb cultivar of the species N. robcantleyi called Nepenthes ‘Queen of Hearts’, which has been exhibited worldwide-many times and the male parent is a selected clone of N. ampullaria ‘Brunei red’ with collection ID: CR-34.
