This is a vigorous hybrid with unique pitcher shape. The female parent is a selected clone of the interesting hybrid Nepenthes ampullaria x mirabilis with the Nepenthes mirabilis component being the incomparable var. globosa and the Nepenthes ampullaria component being the Brunei red form.
