*This lowland plant is having a difficult time in our greenhouse. It is being sold at a discount as-is.
The most interesting hybrids are often those whose characteristics complement each other and that’s certainly the case with this cross which had carefully chosen parent species. BE is hopeful that this hybrid might have inherited the wonderful characteristic of N. ampullaria and produce clusters of basal pitchers.
History: First introduced in Sept 2022.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a selected clone of Nepenthes ampullaria ‘Brunei Red’ formerly sold as CR-23 and with Collection ID # 1235. The male parent is a typical form of Nepenthes campanulata with Collection ID # 2193 selected from amongst those sold under BE-3044.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.
