This individual is from our seed grown lot BE villosa x veitchii. We were holding on to this one for our collection but have decided to let it go. It has a 5 inch leaf span and solid peristome. It will likely look similar to our other solid peristome N. villosa x veitchii as it matures, however there may be some variation as they are seed grown. The last photo is of our larger collection N. villosa x veitchii. This will definitely be the crown jewel in someone’s collection!
The female parent is N. villosa of the same clone as that offered under BE-3225, which was originally selected form many for its exceptional vigor and remains very probably the most vigorous of all the N. villosa in cultivation today. The male parent is the Bario form of Nepenthes veitchii, with pink pitcher and red striped peristome (Collection ID 0211) originally selected from the assorted clones sold under BE-3734.
