Nepenthes singalana x lowii BE-4080

Random selection from a large number of different clones out of microprop.

History:  First introduced in Oct 2021 through the wholesale auctions. The supply of this item is far too limited to be able to offer it on the online shop any time within the next few years. 

Description: The female parent is Nepenthes singalana, which is BE's clone #5 selected from a grex of seed-raised plants for its superlative coloration. The male parent is a seed-raised Nepenthes lowii, with the Collection ID# 0410. This is the same specimen that has travelled with world and been shown many times on exhibits such as the RHS Chelsea Flower show, Singapore and elsewhere.

This cross is expected to produce tough and long-lasting pitchers, probably with nectar exudate under the lids.
