The female parent is a giant N. robcantleyi, which although one of the original six plants BE raised from seeds back in the late 1990s, has no cultivar name at the time of writing. The male parent is an orange N. ventricosa.
This is an amazing cross, which was originally bred and selected for its mass-market potential. It’s easy, showy, and perhaps better than the reverse cross which has already shown its mass-market potential with tens of thousands sold in Europe.
