Random assortment from several carefully selected clones out of microprop.
This classic species has a spectacular wide peristome. There are both lowland and highland varieties which are markedly different in appearance, in general the highland varieties have wider more colorful pitchers. This is a cross between two seed-raised highland forms of Nepenthes veitchii often known as the 'Bario squat'.
The female parent is a selected clone of the Bareo form of Nepenthes veitchii with red-striped peristome. The male parent is also the Bareo form of Nepenthes veitchii, with similarly red-striped peristome. We expect these items to be pretty, with a high probability of having red-striped peristomes. The photos shown here are of plants from this grex of seeds but may differ from the plants you receive as these plants are sure to be highly variable in their colouration.
The plants shown are representative of the one you will receive.
