We still haven’t flowered this particular clone, so as yet we don’t know whether it’s male or female. Next year (2025) we will be introducing other clones in the hope that there will then be both males and females in cultivation and that seed can be produced horticulturally, which is an essential step towards preserving the genetic diversity of this endangered species in cultivation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe clone offered here is undoubtedly true to type, with no evidence of introgression with the sympatric Nepenthes maxima.
